Silver Comet Trail Ride

Five of us friends will leave Friday from Rincon and Vidalia, GA to ride the Silver Comet Trail in Northeast Georgia. Staying at the Days Inn in Rockmart, GA, we will ride three segments of the trail that stretches from near Atlanta to the Alabama State line. Harry "Ju Ju" Hutson, Dan Brown, Ben Barfield, Ed Jewell and myself will get about 100 plus miles on our bicycles in the three days. Not much by tour standards but a great deal of scenery, a old railway trestle and an old tunnel with lot's of color as the trees begin to change into their Fall colors.
