Planning for the Jekyll Island Challenge (Bicycle ride)

When riding to the Sapelo Visitors Center the cyclist will pass through Ridgeville, Ga. The sign pictured announces the historic significance, but it's worth the ride to cycle under the canopy of large maritime live oaks, see the beautiful old homes that have been restored and feel the charm of this magnificent village! The area is called The Ridge, because it is actually a ridge of land bordering the marsh.
