Those crits are a blast to watch. This Saturday they are having one in Anniston, Alabama the night before the Cheaha Challenge Century. I will not make it this year as I am going to Ohio with Mary, but if you can it will be a good one. They have an outdoor food fest so you can eat and drink well as you watch. They also moved the century back a little this year, it will be the weekend before the Tour of Georgia and I think part of the reason was to get some bigger pro involvement at the crits.
Last year it was raining, and those guys were going WFO around the corners drafting super-tight. They all kept the rubber sides down until the very last lap when there was a pile-up in the last turn. It was very cool stuff to watch.
